Acquisition models are interactive that much like the capex model help to understand the rate of return on the acquisition as well as the leverage points, and may help identify potential risk areas of the acquisition to help with post acquisition planning.

Product costing using a cost driver approach. These models are designed to allow the business to be more proactive in dealing with product pricing in inflationary periods as well as providing sales and marketing support materials for justifying pricing adjustments to their customers.
